Raw soups to warm the soul

All our soups are raw - meaning none of the ingredients have been ‘cooked’ per se. They are only heated gently in the blender (never boiled) to reach the perfect sipping temperature. Raw soups retain the nutritional benefits of raw ingredients, with the digestive power of a warm meal for cold days.

Carrots are well-known for eyesight but they are also full of phenolic compounds which act as anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, and anti-oxidants. Carrots help reduce risk of age-related and stress-related diseases including cardiovascular and liver disease. At Juiced Life, our carrots are cleaned & unpeeled, meaning they have up to 40% more minerals than peeled carrots. Carrot consumption correlates with higher bone mass, and lower body weight (BMI). Carrots are also a great source of carotenoids (pro-vitamin A) which is important for vegetarians & vegans.
Our new Immunity Soup also contains ginger to warm, promote digestion and reduce inflammation. Ginger is proving to be an effective anti-obesity ingredient, which is important during winter when we tend to consume more, and move less. Our new Coconut Curry soup is a truly hearty soup. With cashews and coconut, this soup will satisfy even the biggest appetite. Coconut is a favourite ingredient of ours. It contains medium-chain fatty acids (MCFAs) which are an easy fuel for brain cells, and its being researched as a dementia preventative. Coconuts are also showing promise as a treatment to reduce belly fat and anti-aging.
Cashews are high in iron, and consumption may help reduce heart disease via lower total and LDL ‘bad cholesterol’. Cashews are full of polyunsaturated fats so are helpful in protecting the brain & heart, plus showing promise for weight control. They have a low Glycaemic Index so they’re great for diabetics.
Based on a secret Juiced Life family recipe, our home-made curry paste adds kick and a delicious flavour to this rich winter soup.
